Hopefully this isn't a rude question, but could you tell me the main colors you used for this?

Of course it would be my pleasure to help. I work with a limited palette of Titanium White, Windsor Yellow, Cadmium Red, Permanent Rose, French Ultramarine Blue, Phthalo Blue and Ivory Black (when needed). I mix all colors from these as I paint.

You're welcome Rachel. Clouds can be tricky. If you study them from nature and good photos you'll start to pick up their shapes and edges. Watch your value scale too. Value is where most artists stumble.

yes, i so often look at the cloudy sky, and i love it when the evening sun shines in different colours on the clouds - like here in this picture...
