Description Inspired by a screenplay treatment I wrote some years ago--"The Last Countess" a tribute/homage to the Hammer Studio vampire films of the 1960s and 70s. Beatriz is an orphan girl raised as the ward of a man who loved her mother. As the time comes for her to inherit a manor house and some property, the secret emerges that her mother (a Karnstein) had married the last son of the House of Dracula! On Walpurgis Night, Beatriz visits her mother's tomb at the insistence of the gypsy girl Karin who's been her friend since childhood. Beatriz is attacked by a swarm of bats and is seemingly killed, but Karin knows better. She has in fact met her destiny, rising from the grave with the powers and lusts of a vampire--and Karin her willing victim/servant!

Sounds fun, don't ya think?

That would make a great movie as it's very much in the spirit of the Hammer films. Absolutely wonderful image.
