Description
A quick study painting I did on my twitch channel. 2 onions, one wrapped in aluminum foil. I painted a canvas board in turquoise paint for the base, I feel this worked out very well against the dull yellows and browns of the onions.A timelapse video of this painting can be found on my youtube channel, here: youtu.be/ajZBkPswKD8

It has turned out lovely! I think what you did with turquoise really pulled out the soft (dull as you named it) yellows and browns. They look vibrant and alive. I love how you did the foil. My digital attempt in painting the foil material wasn't as successful, but again I used a photo reference from the internet, not from real life.
