Description
When I heard that the new version of Sketchbook Pro would have a "Flipbook" feature that allows artists to make simple animations, I had to upgrade. And here is the first (presentable) result.Yeah, it's still a bit rough and jittery, but it's far easier to animate in the new Sketchbook Pro 7 than in Photoshop or Manga Studio (although I'll most likely still use those programs to produce the final inked and colored cels).
(One important feature that SBP 7 lacks, that I hope they include in a future update, is the ability to export the animation in GIF. Currently, the only ways to share an animation is in the proprietary .skba format that only another SBP 7 user can play, or as a sequence of PNG files. I used the latter method to bring the individual frames into Photoshop where I combined them into one file and made the animated GIF you see here.)

Yeah, for some reason I draw her slimmer in her animations. (Maybe it makes the figures easier to handle in movement.)

Well, well! Glad to see you're still in motion, Dave. Β And Tetsuko is, too!
Wouldn't mind seeing a transformation sequence with Melissa Lockhart to Dyna....

Great work, Mr. M! Now, to do it at her true size...

My guess is they didn't want to pay the CompuServe licensing to use the GIF format.Β We really need an open source animation file format.

Nice!
Looks pretty good to my eye.
And lets me fantasize about a Tetsuko animated feature someday. Β
