That ship and that background are great pieces, but maybe I would want to see more of that empty vastness, so there would be much more emphasis on the boat and it being the single thing on that desert beach.
For me it looks now like there is potential for great feeling of loneliness, but the picture strikes more of as a portrait of a boat (sorry for being blunt) instead of aiming to convey a certain feeling.
Puuh, I'm not very good at this, and I'm sure you have your own message to deliver on that photograph, which I'm just not getting, as I look on that picture from my own perspective which is the creation of my experiences for the past years.
...And Finnish people are naturally melancholy, so we're connecting everything we see to that mentality
