FFXII artwork 
glad it's finally over after 40-45 hours...
gotta take my time when working full colors, a mistake never forgive
Final Fantasy will always be remember by our generation, I've been playing from a very young age in the basement on a wooden encased TV and still now today on an LCD...
This drawing is a tribute to that wonderful franchise that moved so many of us back and forth in a legendary world.
I'd like to dedicate it to
a very skillful portrait artist, one of the first I met here on DA, but also one of the best
This is a mixed media piece and when I say mixed, I mean it!
Oil background and highlights
Aquarel pencils mainly used along with markers for wide areas backgrounds
White acrylic highlights
some graphite to help thin lines and main sketch
11*14'' Bristol smooth board
lots of patience

I don't know where to begin with this one. You've taken a wonderful character and given him a fitting tribute. The color highlights are beautiful and his eyes look gorgeous. I love the way that you did Cerberus. The glint off it is amazing. The background looks like he's at sunset. I wish I could say more but I find myself at a lack of words. Thank you so, so much for sharing this wonderful work.

You can really get lost in this piece, there's lots of things to see, and the angle makes you have to tilt your had, which is just fun lol
The flare where you put the white highlights is kind of awkward, but it's neat since it just happens to remind you that this isn't a digital painting, but a fantastic traditional piece

I think my favourite parts in this piece are the tiny little glints of light on his buckles and his Cerberus-chain - those kinds of insignificant details that enhance the whole piece without anyone noticing just what is making it look so good never escape me.
