Description
In this Labrador portrait I tried using soft background colours to fit the personality of the dog. I also tried to flatten the colours of the head a bit because the hairs on the head are very short, so not very visible.

It was a challenging painting for me because of the smooth colour transitions that are hard to paint with fast drying acrylic paint, and some complex hair growth directions. It was still a fun and educational experience though
