Description
This is another painting inspired by the Arctic wolves scenes from the British wildlife documentary series "Spy in the Wild", in which robots / animatronic creatures are used to document wildlife behaviour. Here I have painted the hunting scene from the opposite perspective as my previous painting ("The Hunt", www.deviantart.com/daviddeklee… ): the pups are the main subject here.

Fun fact: I started this painting back in August 2021, long before the wolf pack painting that I posted last month. It's been standing against the wall for a few months, because I wasn't really happy with how it looked initially. I almost wanted to paint my other wolf pack painting over it, but thought that would've been a bit of a shame - especially because of the time I spent combining multiple references and setting up the composition. So I decided to finish it anyway Hope you like it a bit
