Without a doubt the OC I am most proud of. I adore this character so so much! Hope you like her too and her involvement in "Eclipse" so far!
Below is a paragraph on her birth as an OC and how I developed her, if you're interested:

Originally coming to mind as a villain, the character quickly changed to a protagonist as Act One of Eclipse began, acting as a character/plot device to cheer up the hurt and emotional main characters, adding humor to an otherwise sad story. Her relationship with Winter also helped to flesh her out as more than just a plot device for comedic effect, and the slight antagonist in Jaymes Ickford that irked and showed her darker yet protective side.

I've read a lot of fics, and a lot of the time - no discredit to these stories at all, they are all sublime - the OC's that show relation to the canon cast come from Jaune's undeveloped line of seven sisters. I wanted something different, and the idea of blue hair stuck with me. I then thought on Neptune, and wondered how interesting it would be to flesh him out more than the usual suspects of the show like RWBY or JNPR. She is incredibly protective of her brother, almost overly protective, and would do anything to maintain that "Cool" image that Neptune looks up to, even if she knows it's all a facade.

The idea of her falconry was always something I wanted to do, for I absolutely adore falconry, and to implement that into RWBY would also develop the world of Remnant, showing that there are other creatures on that planet besides Grimm.

her backstory is still in the works, but set in stone ideas are that she failed her Huntsmen training at Haven, and instead traveled Remnant, before meeting a falconer who taught her the ways of the art. In that time she took her brawler - Yang style - combat traits as a heavy weight and fought in illegal underground fighting circles, proving her strength and determination.

I have strong plans for her character over the course of the story, and she'll even continue on into my own works in the future, outside of Fanfiction.
