Description He was forged in a cell, as Salem's Minions tortured him, scarring him from head to toe, branding his back with a symbol of Salem's eye, forever imprinted into his skin. How did he get into this situation? How did any of the two teams get into this situation...Two people to blame...Jaune Arc and Pyrrha Nikos.

During the final assault on Salem's Sanctum, a Fire Team was assembled of three teams. Led by team JNPR's leader Jaune Arc, SSSN and CRDL made up the rest of his squad. Their task? To carve a swath through the Grimm forces so that Team RWBY and Qrow Branwen could get to the structure and finish Salem, ending the conflict.

Jaune formulated a plan and they followed him into combat, cutting down Grimm after Grimm. But it was a bottleneck, and the Grimm began to overrun them. Panic and doubt began to set in on the young leader, and soon enough - in fear for his friends lives - ordered a retreat. But SSSN and CRDL were overrun and away from JNPR, a rolling river of Grimm between them.

Sun Wukong ended up in the grasp of an Ursa, thrown free when Neptune Vasilias shot it's paw. He landed by Jaune and Pyrrha who dragged him reluctantly from his overrun teammates. Through tears and sorrow, pleads of Sorry and promises of a rescue, JNPR and Sun were gone, leaving CRDL and SSN in the hands of Salem herself.

Weeks, months of torture followed for the two teams, until finally Salem was defeated. Searches within the Sanctum found nothing but one body, the others either having escaped or been executed.

After months, the searches stopped, and the worse was feared for CRDL and SSN.

Fourteen years elapse, Jaune never picking up his sword again, giving up on being a Huntsmen to raise a family instead. Pyrrha too surrendered her Huntress status and decided that a family is all she truly wanted in the world, especially if it was with Jaune. The two got married, and life began to unfold beautifully.

They have a healthy, bouncy baby girl, whom Pyrrha names Penny, in memory of a fallen friend. The two raise their girl, and life continues to get steadily better and happier.

Now Penny's twelve, Jaune's a Carpenter when he isn't focusing on being a Dad, and Pyrrha continues with her endorsements and advertisements as the Invincible girl.

But their world is turned upside down when the Deacon arises, burning their home to the ground and all of their memoirs. Shockingly, he claims to be one of the friends they left behind that fateful day, fourteen years later. The methodical Ex Huntsmen paces his prey, boasting.

His armor, forged from Non-Ferrous Alloys to be immune to Pyrrha's Semblance, it's design based off of both Knight and Spartan to mock the pair, was constructed over a decade, methodical and patient.

Now they have a daughter caught in the mix, and must protect her at all costs as they escape on the run across Remnant, trying to relocate old friends and build their teams and themselves again if they have any hope of beating the Deacon.

But who is this master of mind games? Is it Cardin? is it Sage? Scarlet David? Neptune? Dove? Lark? Russel? Only the Deacon knows, and he intends for Jaune and Pyrrha to know too, but at the correct time, at the proper moment.

He's waited fourteen years, he's let them build their lives, let them move on, let them have a daughter, let them raise her. He's let them construct this perfect life...so that now...he can take it all away...
