Day 24 of Yokai Month aka Yokaitober, just one more week until the big day (or night), with the Kirin. There isn't a clear translation for this one, out jus derives from its Chinese name Qilin. Examples include of course the Kirins from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and the ones from Monster Hunter. Said to be one of the holiest creatures of East Asia, they're normally very gentle and only attack when threatened. Not just because of their antler like horns or sharp hooves, but they can also breathe holy fire...whatever that means. Speaking fo horns, some species of Kirin can have either just one horn, have two horns, or on rarer occasions have three horns.Be sure to follow my social media down below for news and more content.
