yeah its a crap post. im just hoping the clouds dont take a crap on the event.

anyways i got my 180 to 600mm lens with baader film from the 2017 solar eclipse and a 1.4x tele converter.

my plan is to take a picture every 10 minutes as it phases in and phases out. once the moon fully covers the sun i'll remove the film and take bracket shot in different exposures at 20fps first with the tele converter (840mm) then with out the teleconverter (600mm) fully zoomed in. and if i have time i might use my ultra wide or fisheye to get a few other shots. the bracketed shots will ensure i get every exposure i need and will also be used for hdr processing later. i'll have roughly 5 minutes to get the shots.

anyone in fredricksberg texas waiting too? 12 hours to go! wish us all luck! its clear outside currently so hopefully it stays that way.
