Description
My lifelong favorite musician, Ian Anderson (flute-player, singer, songwriter, acoustic guitarist, and leader of the group Jethro Tull) released a new album earlier this month: a quasi-sequel to the 1972 Tull album "Thick as a Brick." "Thick as a Brick 2" presents five possible paths taken in the the life of the fictional character Gerald Bostock, who featured on the original album's cover. I love the new album and can't wait to see it on tour later this year. After 44 years in the music business, Ian Anderson is still creating wonderful new music!Related content

Neat! Although I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy Jethro Tull's music, when I get into that mood, I really enjoy them a lot!

That's great to hear, Brandon. Their stuff is so varied, do you like the gentle, acoustic stuff or the loud, raucous material?

In general, I think I prefer their acoustic stuff. It's good background music when I'm writing or doing something else that needs a subtle soundtrack.

that's so cool that he's still around making music. i honestly can't say that i have a lifelong favorite musician; or that any of the musicians i liked as a kid are either alive or still making music today.
