I had a bad case of stomach flu this past week. Took me out worse than I originally thought. At least I can get back on track as long as I don’t make excuses for it.

You’ll notice that I did some crosshatching in the background. This is a little experimentation with dip pens (with better ink which doesn’t bleep up Bristol board.) over a snapshot. I like this initial result, but I feel that I can make it better in future scenes. Especially in the outdoor parts, and some other inner areas.

(That, and clothes racks stuffed with clothes would be a bitch to render with the entire contents of my colon, from the pancreas on down, running at warp seven.)

Also, what Jennifer’s wearing? I’ve seen a bona fide Gamer Girl* dressed up almost like that, with neon green mesh hose! In my eyes, it looks more like her legs had this inner glow which I emulated here.

*For the record, my definition of ‘Gamer Girl’ is broader than most geek. Say what you will about whatever or not you’d call a Geek Girl fake, as long as that girl is looking at me in a cordial setting, I will NOT complain! After all, that’s one of the things I look for in a friend of the other gender.
