Description I'm working on a new technique with this pic, where I ink with a Percise V5, and then outline the figure with a Percise V7.

There's a Disney Heroes line of action figures that were deisgned to mimick Todd McFarlaine's line of figures, and Peter Pan was in it. I thought I worked on this for my 21st Century version of the classic character I'm putting in "Lost Boy Found"

Why a Bowie Knife? Pan: "Just because I never grow up doesn't mean I can't get an improvement every now and then."

So I still have problems with perspective.

This is why I'm switching to text stories..._and getting out of the fanfic business_

Staedtlers are indeed very yummy, but if you use an eraser to clean up sketchy pencil work you may find yourself re-inking faded pen lines. The best way to go is with india ink of good quality and a nice fountain pen set. They take a bit of practice to master but you get fantastic results.

I've noticed that problem. But you can also ink over top of non-photo blue or red lines and then remove them later in Photoshop. Rapidographs are nice too, but so expensive.

Pen and ink is nice, but it can be a pain, and it's not very cuddly. I like being able to drag my art supplies with me to work. If I tried to put India ink in my pocket, I'd spill it all over the place.

You mean there's an easy way to remove blue lines in photoshop without all the tedious erasing? Teach me, o sensei =3

Hehe, don't call me sensei yet. I haven't played around with it much yet, but I found this tutorial [link] I hope that helps.

That's what I grab when I want to do a real good image. The Cinderella Commission was done with dipping pens.

Too bad good ink costs a fortune, huh? -_-' All well, the wallet suffers for the art.

Exactly, and with my limited funds, sometimes you just can't afford to put out as good a product as you'd like. That's why I have a donation bar that doesn't budge on most occasions. It's also why Scarlet PI is shaded in pencil as well.

Wow, that looks an aweful lot like that new Disney Peter Pan figure that I got recently. Ya know, the one I showed you on eBay. Dang you stole my idea about drawing him, :-P I may eventually do that, tho my style is different than yours. But I do like what you did, very nice I must say.

Thanks. Sorry about beating you to the punch, at least you can do this as well. I'm really hoping that someone would want to do a piece of Adam as well.

Tis ok. *Sigh* someone's always beating me to the punch I'm afraid. Man I gotta learn to quit being so lazy. I need to be a go-getter in life before someone else gets it before me. Also I've been partically busy with other homework, in other graphics.

I used to know the feeling, having problems getting, as I would say with a guy's vocabulary, the fire under my @$$. Finding it is easier on some days than others.

Do you know if there's any way I can help you out with this?

Help me out with what? The drawing I can do later, once I ever get motivated.

Ah I see. It may be a while cuz like I said I'll have upcoming projects. And I really wanna get a Wacum tablet first before I do too many more computer graphics. Easier on the hand.

Your inking does look a little better in this pic. Learning to ink well is one of those unfortunate evils. If you haven't tried them already, I'd reccomend Staedtler pigment liners. They're a little pricey, but sooooooooo scrumptious.

Appreciate it. I'll look into those Staedtlers once I get my tax return.
