Meet the rodent to blame for the idea behind the revised Scarlet PI strip.

Several years ago, a guy named Prillo sent me a file about an Amusement Park named "Happy Fun Land," where they keep several teenagers prisoner so they can erase their minds and turn them into their characters in the parks. The top character in Happy Fun Land is this girl, Millicient Mouse. Would you believe she used to be a Goth Slacker until they got their hands on her?

Prillo gave me the file and the rights to use both the characters and the idea, and I took off with it into the current series I'm known for today. And in this volume of Scarlet PI, Millicient has a starring role.

In my design for Millicient, I see her a bit of a cross between Minnie Mouse and Sonic Team's Amy Rose. And with an added twist I modified Amy's old school dress, since it'll fit Millie better. Considering that she's supposed to be around in the "Timeless River" era, I suppose that she knows how to use that Piko Hammer. A lot.
