Description
So the bastards over at Archie decided to snuff off our favorite Princess Sally. Again. For the life of me, I just can't bring myself to get as melodramatic as I did in the infamous Issue #47, which could be the stuff of legend. But since by now I've remade my Sonic Fanfict "Blood & Metal" in an original world [link] I couldn't help but to join those giving Archie Comics the middle finger, only in a way that is much more constructive.
While the world of Maatla is original, and the story is based more on Generic Plain Vanilla (Agenda-Free) Americana than anything else, there are some residual influences from its origin in the Fanficts. For example. You can easily see Sally Acorn's spitting image in the Padme-style (including changing costumes) Princess Sarah Knothole of Vintanos. So much so that you can easily call her an alternate reality version of Sally. While legally I have to say that all simularity between this version of BAM and anything SEGA or ARCHIE is coincidential, I'm not a good liar: I did style Sarah after Sally. Just to piss off everyone related to Sonic the Hedgehog. Game Programmers, Comic Book Artist, Rank and File Fans, every single rat bastard one of you!
And I guess it shows with this drawing, which I hope will become a print or even a T-shirt. Consider it my middle finger to the entire drama over the Archie Comic, showing a scene where, as the caption shows: "Sally didn't die. She phracking traded up!"
Call me presumptious, call me an egotist, and call Eric a Mary Sue (and listen to him bust a gut laughing) but I'm convinced that Eric Krockett > Sonic Marice Hedgehog. And in some areas, ahem, you don't need to be fast.
(Oh sure, some people would just yawn, say "Here goes Gonterboy again, hur hur hur," and just go back to their troll site of their choice, but hey, you got your tube, I got mine.)
NOTE: This pic is just a temporary image, and a full colored version will appear at a later date.

Can I play the Devil's Advocate here? Even though many fans may not like the way the Archie story-arch is going, I do believe you are really going waaaayyyy over the edge with the name calling. You mention this:
"You can easily see Sally Acorn's spitting image in the Padme-style (including changing costumes) Princess Sarah Knothole of Vintanos. So much so that you can easily call her an alternate reality version of Sally. While legally I have to say that all simularity between this version of BAM and anything SEGA or ARCHIE is coincidential, I'm not a good liar: I did style Sarah after Sally. Just to piss off everyone related to Sonic the Hedgehog."
So is your "Sarah", REALLY SALLY?
I re-visited your website of the BAM story you are working on and I read this:
"Eric Krockett is met with a unique challenge: Unable to go back in time and steer America clear of the pitfalls that plagued the country, but he can do the next best thing: He can recreate America from scratch in another world, and he could make it better than the original. He could even start with a bloodless transition of his host country from a monarchy to a democracy.
And Maatla needs a country like America. A maleficent scientist is starting his own empire, turning living beings into robotic slaves. An empire with plans on global domination. "
*********
I'm not quite understanding your direction here; you say your work is "coincidental" but to me it seems clear your story description has most of the elements of the Sonic story lines even the part of YOUR characters being turned into robotic slaves (Do I hear Eggman's evil laughter?)
If it is a parody that is one thing; but to give one-up-manship to Archie is another. I agree with the fan base is just that...a fan base who loves/hates the characters as they develop. I'm entertained by Sonic stories no matter which way the story develops, but I have to keep the perspective that it is what it is....fiction.

Well, in short this should be [Sonic] parody, or at least it's should be. I just get a touch disgusted at the Sonic fandom as a whole at times. Probably just aftershock from my bad experience as a fan myself and how a lot of bridges just get burned because of it. If I show a bit hot headedness over it (such as the initial reasoning behind this particular deviation.) it's best kept in some prespective and give me some time to simmer down, so I can do the needed tweakings with a cooler head.
(Too many people keep scores against me that date back to the 1990s, so I have the tendency to think likewise.)

Why so aggressive against just regular fans? I didn't have anything to do with what happened to Archie!Sally.

So long as you don't sell said shirts to make a profit, I don't think you'll have a problem.
The minute you try to make money off of this? Archie's gonna shut you down.

I think this counts under parody actually, but I'm not well versed in law.

It counts under parody until you start trying to make money off it.

I'm pretty sure you can sell things that are parody- otherwise Weird Al wouldn't be able to release his CDs.
