Description Pippkin's flashbacks will resemble the type of character he is: Old School Disney meets Film Noir. In fact, the next few pages will have a Frank Miller style tilt to them, or at least, that's what I'm shooting for.

Hmm...
Some thoughts...
Frank Miller used to make his works by painting an entire bristol board over with black ink, and then scraping off the lines he needed with a razor blade.  You might wanna give that a try, I've been tempted my self to try by filling a MicroSoft PAINT canvas with Black and then using a white colored pencil to sketch.  I strive to improve my art.

Also, is there a 30's Bigfoot version of these characters?  You see Mickey Mouse on Steam Boat Willie, he's definitely more primitive than his Mickey Mouse Club version.

I know you were aiming for Frank Miller's style, but Frank had the ability to bleach out most outlines and was able to depict form with shapes of black and white rather than lines. At least, that's how he did in in Sin City.

Also, having been a bit of an English nut, wouldn't it be "Scarlet and I"?

Aww, they look so cute! I like how despite the style Pippkin is still white. And the line they're standing on, the free hand does nothing but to emphazise their innocence and free spirit. anyone tells you otherwise, give'em the trout! XD!

Ah, you heard of my infamous Trout of Doom {cc} eh? ( Go to this [link] if you don't understand. )

But anyway, I knew folks would like the fact that I'm keeping Pippkie white, even though I'm going into full-on Frank Miller mode here. I've pretty much nailed the Disney meets Noir effect I wanted did I?

It's cute but you might want to try putting more solid lines in, it's hard to tell their parts apart. ^.^
