I never saw Kron as a villain. He just has the mindset that only the strong survive. Life made this guy tough and he doesn't take those who question his leadership skills lightly

Well he was not supposed to be villain, but this makes people to hate him, because he never want to understand people's advice, especially to Aladar's. That situation is similar to Steele from "Balto". He also was being arrogant to himself.

Well, I really love this film so much because it was part of my childhood, along with The Emperor's New Groove and Atlantis. So this film deserves love (while Disney Princesses were taking over).
