I smoothed the front part of the car only, as you can see the reflection still does not look as good, does it mean I have to go reallllyyy detailed in the modelling?

The poly-count should be far enough! It's quite hard to tell what it is.. you downloaded the model right? if you send me the link to the download, I can take a look at the model and see what's wrong! I made some simple shapes with an HDRI image as surrounding: [link] as you can see, the polycount is really low but the surface still looks smooth, it's just the contours that reviele the low poly-count... try to model something simple and render it, and then maybe model something more advanced and see if you still got an accurate mesh..

Aha! of some reason the polygons where not merged, it's like every single polygon is individual, they are just in the same group/combined.. I merged the verticies and then I could soften the edges.. it's still a crapy model, so it didn't look very good anyway
