Description
Pencil concept, tech pen trace, scan, livetrace on the lines and rendered in Illustrator CS3.Highlights/lowlights were done using 'multiply' and 'screen' layer effects.

Create a gradient from a light to dark colour, use multiply/screen as a layer effect in Illustrator and the light/dark colour becomes transparent.
