By rights, they are all in non-traditional marriage circumstances. Jane didn't have a 'Christian' wedding, Meg has a (technically) non-human husband and the Captain is inter-species married. None of them are married to Princes either.

I know the Captain and Jane share the same voice actress, but I don't know how Meg fits in beyond all of them having the same hair color. Still, it's awesome seeing my three favorite Disney gals all sitting down to tea together!

Actually, haha, Captain Amelia and Jane Porter are voiced by different actresses.
Minnie Driver voices Jane (you may recognize her from Ella Enchanted - with Anne Hathaway in it) and Emma Thompson provides the voice of Captain Amelia. Their voices sound the same, I know, haha.

I am getting her mixed up with Lady Toriko (I think that was her name) frm Princess Mononoke, yeah. Thanks for that clarificarion though! XD This whole time I thought them the same.

Captain Amelia!!! I just watched Treasure Planet on Netflix last night, too funny! I love TP, one of my all time favorite Disney movies. So underrated! Captain Amelia's dialogue is absolutely brilliant and so high brow, her dry humor gets me every time.

The whole Princess Academy thing is such a fabulous idea, and I wish we could be seeing it all the way through! Both this and the larger image it's a part of are fantastic works, and I really love the completely open doors to the Disney heroines it's become.
