Tiana's so PRETTY. And she reminds me of Belle. Her hair, and the COLOR and the STYLE of her dress obviously, and sort of the whole sweet-but-feisty look. I can't wait until PatF hits theaters!

This picture is really fun! It shows a side of her that we expect to be there but never really see.
And while I"m on that subject, did you know that there's a show devoted to her already at Walt Disney World called the Tiana's Showboat Jubilee? It's a really upbeat show that uses some of the music from the movie and has Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, the evil Dr. Facillier, the aligator Luis, a 6 piece band and a group of Mardi Gras dancers.
It's a big hit so far, and Princess Tiana is very pretty. I've seen it a couple of times and I could definetely picture her in that pose. I just thought I'd share.

I absolutely love your art.
Do you have any advice on doing cel-inking/coloring like you've done? I recently attempted it again but for some reason my stuff just doesn't work out no matter how hard I try. I know it's a lot to ask, but could you look over this pic and tell me what I can do to make things look more "official"? I drew the lines with pencil and then colored it in photoshop because the photoshop brushes are often too blurry to ink with. What do you use to ink? For the shading I used a new layer and shaded with magenta but changed the opacity of the layer way down.

I'm completely sucked in not only by Tiana's wonderful expression and pose, but also by the way you drew all the food. I know that might sound weird, but as someone who can't draw anything that isn't alive... I'm envious of your food-drawing skills!

this is wonderful, as always... perfect tiana expression on her face, like she knows how hard the work is, but she also knows why her job is worth it.
by the way, are you still taking submissions for the fan art book? If not, it's fine... i've been super busy with college and theatre and finally found some time last night to draw... let me know if you are still taking pieces, and when the deadline is (if it hasn't already passed.)

You know what?! EasyJet just opened a flight line from Tel Aviv to London (Luton airport)this week! It's the first Low-cost air line to work in Israel, on the London line... Flights can go as cheep as 150Euro!!! So who knows man, I might come sooner then you think! Ha ha

Well, actually, I think I get to see it two days early because our animation class is going on a field trip to the studios. They're open and they're allowing people in (who pay of course) to see art work and I'm pretty sure to see the movie and such. I don't remember all the details but should be fun!
