As long as they are saying Tiana is their first African American main character and NOT that Tiana and Naveen are their first interracial couple, because they definitely are not! Princess Kida and Milo were their first ;D
Although, as a teeny critique, from the few previews I've seen, aren't Naveen's ears bigger?

Pocahontas and John Smith we're Disney's first interracial couple! And while we're on that subject, Pocahontas was also Disney's first Princess from America, not Tiana... Oh well, but it all falls into categories, and Pocahontas is the daughter of the Chief, not a KING, and well, Tiana is only a princess by wedding... So...
Who cares really?! I just love Tiana and Naveen for who they are, and I can't take it any more - I want to see the film! Com'on Disney - Do me a favour! Send me a copy!!!

You're making me more anxious to see this film. I've been trying to stay away from spoilers...but they are so tempting. Not only that they're selling merchandise nonstop now (and it's selling out quickly too!). I got myself a poster and I wanted to buy the costume for my niece (who's my current muse)but it was too big for her. Too bad they don't sell costumes for older kids (I wanted to dress up for the Toronto premiere). I guess I'll just make my costume for the DVD release.

I should take your advice and avoid the spoilers too. Although I'm already beyond help, seeing as my mother bought me the storybook as a gift and I...guiltily read it fifteen times in one day.
Tiana is simply gorgeous in these sketches! And I know what you mean, I didn't like Charlotte much at first, but now she's growing on me. ^^

I adored Tiana's dream sequence look. The first thing I thought seeing this was, "What, he's seen it already?"
You'd better shut your eyes up and go under a rock or something before you explode from spoilage. XP Disney itself puts spoilery clips in the previews and trailers. It's not fair. You shouldn't feel like you're just rewatching stuff when you go to the movies, even if you didn't see anything that spoiled the plot.

Ah-temptation, I have that problem myself. I have peaked at some of the books at the bookstores--but I never read the middle ironically. Just wanted to know the fate of the villain of course--and brush up on a few theories of mine.

Good God, I know how you feel. I typed in "Dr. Facilier" on YouTube and up popped, not one, but TWO videos that said contained the full version of "Friends on the Other Side". It is SO tempting. But I really want to see big musical number on the big screen, so I'm trying really hard to avoid it. I just have to wait 2 more weeks. I can do this!
I think Tiana looks adorable in that white dress and with that hair style, very classy. I'm really interested in what her relationship with Dr. Facilier will be like. If she tries to seduce him like how Jasmine tried to seduce Jafar, I will laugh my butt off!
