Oh boyeeee! You rocked it on this one, Dave. You know Mr. Price has a special place in my heart, and the color rendering is great. Say "goodbye" to it, cause you won't have this one very long.

damn you are fast. I turn around and you have completed another one. nice job of course. guessing Chris Tucker? or Arsenio?, Ice Cube? and Vincent Price is my slam dunk. I miss Vincent Price, he was ahead of his time, I have figured for years he was gay, my gf insists he was not, but regardless, it's Vincent Price! The celebrity thing you have been doing again is definitely your ticket, instant recognition from viewers.
I know you draw it out first, curious if you plan your concepts ahead of time or work it out while you are sketching? Also any plans for some Peter O'Toole / Richard Hariss related work. They have so many great drinking stories between them, there is all kinds of room for a great pic or three.

Hey Bro-Its a scene from the movie "friday" where chris tucker and ice cube are getting high on the porch but I twisted it with freaky price etc..With Price-I suspect his business was dandy-now that you say-but I never thought about it-Dont matter-He still rocks!-The last man on earth and theatre of blood is in my all time faves..My buddy in Cali has actually always been bugging me for YEARS to do a Peter O'Toole..He also wants max von sidow and James Mason too-and he wants the natzis from "Cross Of Iron "in it too..

shit, i never saw "friday." No wonder I didn't quite get it. One really needs to have a phd in pop culture to fully get your stuff. Glad to know you have considered O'toole. he is far and away my favorite drunk englishman.

The expressions really compliment and bring the entire thing out. Haha, its very catchy and new. Defines what true art should look like.

It came out cool-some may argue that its "editorial illustration" and, it kinda is-but I just enjoyed painting it and figured the drawing was kinda funny/simple..I think Im gunna switch away from the celebs for awhile and do some classical style female forms in nature scenes-But with a twist {of course!!}LOL!!

Haa-Yeah-I always say "just shoot me if you ever catch me doing a straight forward land or ocean scape" etc etc..Theres always gotta be some subliminal stuff or some underlying message-or I figure-whats the point?! ya know..

"You ask me did I like Arsenio -
About as much as the bicentennial"
Great as always. But I always imagine your paintings to be at least twice the size you render them...
