Now I'm imagining Jaws being a rock opera.

Sung to "Doe a deer." JAWS: A mouth, a great big mouth. TEETH; Those things that kind of crunch. BITE: The way sharks say "Hello." US: Their favorite quick y lunch. BLOOD: Which turns the ocean red. GULP: Which means the shark has fed. PAIN: That makes a swimmer pause. Which brings us back to JAWS.

Now that is truly fabulous. Imagine if Roy Schieder and Robert Shaw saw this! They'd be rolling over in their graves. Great Job!

Excellent work about the best movie ever made.
Brody's shirt is great.
Hooper should've been shirtless to flash a Mary Ellen Moffat scar.
Clockwork Bruce is awesome too.

High praise.

The look on Hooper's face keeps making me giggleβ€”he's so in awe of Quint! You've even got that goofy fold in Quint's hat down perfectly...

wicked. You ever read Jaws? I thought it was rubbish! All about a marriage split up more than a shark if I remember...but the film is one of my all time faves. Class work

davidmacdowell In reply to AndyFairhurst [2009-03-02 04:55:16 +0000 UTC]

Hey`Thanks Wild! Yeah-The book did suck..Wasn't there a whole sub-plot about Brody's wife sleeping with Hooper or something like that?haaaaa--weird!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AndyFairhurst In reply to davidmacdowell [2009-03-02 08:33:49 +0000 UTC]

exactly that! I remember that now. The shark was just a reason for them to be on the boat together to confront each other...or something.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

davidmacdowell In reply to AndyFairhurst [2009-03-19 17:23:36 +0000 UTC]

Yup=how weird..Kinda like the whole reason for the killings/veangence in "Kill Bill" stemmed from a simple lovers spat! I dont think love belongs in suspense films-haaaa!

Totally agree! I remember back in the 70's when HBO would play "The taking of Pelham 1-2-3" every other night and Id always stay up to watch it again and again=That and "Rollerball" {not a Shaw movie but} and "Over the Edge" with little Matt Dillon==Haa!

My favorite Shaw film is "The Royal Hunt of the Sun". He should have won an Oscar for his portrayal of Pizarro

Theres like a dozen I like-"A Man For All Seasons" was awesome-Force 10 from Naverone{another HBO} classic..I read recently that for Jaws he wrote the whole "Indianapolis" monologue himself and was uncredited..i didnt know that all these years..pretty awesome..!
