Very creative and well made. I love this film and this is a pleasant, humorous homage.

This picture seriously belongs in Jeff Bridges house (could you imagine this hung up above the mantel of a fireplace, definitely the centerpiece of the home haha). I keep coming back to this piece cause it's just so damn perfect, and hilarious.
I hope Jeff Bridges atleast gets to SEE this at some point. I know he'd laugh.

So excited for you Dave!! I went to Culver City about a month ago, but Thinkspace was closed that day. I was bummed. But its a really awesome gallery and in a kick ass location. By the way, this piece rocks! I hope you sell every last painting!!

That sucks that it was closed! Thanks for the well wishes Angel-It gives me confidence that everythings going to be cool. I think some will sell and thats all that matters=Even if none sell its still a "win" but a weird "win"haaaaa! Everythings cool=and I dont know what the hell Im doing! As long as the illusion is there that I do is all that matters

I honestly think you will sell most if not all. I talked to the gallery owner next door and he said that the last show that was there almost sold out the first night. So, obviously it gets a great crowd for openings. Are you going to be able to attend opening night?... But you're right, its a win, win situation. You are now having a solo show at one of the most well known galleries in the U.S.! So AWESOME!!!<3

Thanks and we shall see! Im not painting big eyed girls and wildlife so its a hard sell being a "pop artist" or whatever I am. Posters and T-shirts of my work is an easier sell sometimes, but as long as the work is good than Im not worried about anything. Most of my worries have always been imaginary anywayhaaaaa

I know what you mean... I'm not creating images of those things either... but I think in the long run, that's good. Your style is unique and VERY recognizable. Just like fashion, fads fade. A genuine style and vision doesn't fade even if it takes a while for people to really "get" it. But it seems that people are already "getting" your work and loving it!!! I mean, your art is so easy to relate to if you have a sense of humor and a brain. Not to mention you have a rockin' style. AND I love that you work in acrylics. It makes the pieces that much more incredible.

Thanks! Yeah-Its cool to be "underground" but I secretly yearn to be accepted like everyone else..but I dont wanna give in and do whats the status quo so-its a climb-we will get there!

hear hear! I agree... not to mention, I think I'm incapable of drawing and painting the fad. But I too yearn for acceptance and recognition... ah, the life of an artist. Its a strange one. But I wouldn't trade it for anything.<3<3 And yes, we will get there!!

I would definitely hang this on my wall! I love that movie.
I was recently in NYC, and i came across a lil' shop called "The Little Lebowski" . It was wall-to-wall "Dude memorabilia". You should check it out if your ever in the area..
