Cheers! I didn't know that myself - interesting stuff - I imagine a 'jar' that was around when the Pandora story was created had a slightly different meaning to folk back then than the modern screw topped glass jar type that we instantly think of in modern times - though I could be wrong - Those Greeks were pretty smart fellows

I have no idea why I went and proclaimed the "original" translation XD But I just googled it and a Greek jar is a lot like a pot that could have a lid. farm3.static.flickr.com/2507/3… Oh and how rude of me- great artwork!
