Unaware of Life.Created for the Watercolor Comp in the group Abstract-Watercolor
A warm blanket of heat and pure energy or light, rejuvenating and energizing
Mixed Media including Acrylics and Watercolor on Box Canvas 36" x 24"
Hand Painted with lots of layers of paint and epoxy resin, also used some wax and heat to get the smooth finish.
Took several days to get it finished

I love the texture work and contrasting values in this piece--it really makes the painting pop and highlights many of its assets, in my opinion. It almost looks like a portal midst the black and white room. I really enjoy it overall.

Yep, definitely the color scheme! I love he texture of the painting and even though I can't physically feel it, I like the emotions it evokes. The blending is absolutely magnificent! The title "Unaware of Life" is beautiful as well

percieved the meaning behind the painting as thats what it was intended to say. It was created with the thought that even in a dead wasteland of a space
destroyed by man, there might be the slightest hint of life still fighting for survival, even if we the humans that caused the damage were unaware of it

honestly this is really good because it reminds me of a lot of different things and the colors are very nice, it almost looks like the color scheme of a vintage photograph, but with a little more life to it. if you look closely it looks like a child sitting like the thinking man. It also makes me think of the universe, flames, or parts of the brain that light up in a scan...
