I was just thinking of "Sinbad and The Eye of the Tiger" this morning. Low and behold, you captured what was in my mind on canvas! Thanks for being able to lend your artistic talent to fulfill my precious memory!

Thank you. Next time I try a painting I'll remember what you said. I often wondered how such talented painters worked. Now I at least know how one works. Thank you!

Can you tell me, teach me or explain to me how you get smaller details using oils or whatever it is you're using? Do you use a small brush? What's the trick? And how the heck do I clean my brushes that oil paint is powerful stuff.

I actually use a mix of different mediums - acrylic, gouache, watercolor and color pencils. It's hard to tell you exactly how I did it because everyone has their own style and most likely what works for me may not work for you. But I can tell you I paint with an acrylic base because acrylic colors stay pretty vibrant and the paint dries permanent. Gouache can get muddy if you don't know how to use it but is easier to use for fine details, so I paint that on top of the acrylic paint. If it doesn't work you can wipe it off. I also use water color for details, and color pencils to sharpen edges. When starting the painting process, I start with the background and work my way forward to the foreground objects, painting everything in simple shapes then adding detail on top of the elements. I could go into it more but that's basically how I go about doing my art. Hope that helps.

Great work. Like the fact Sinbad looks more like the John P. Law version of Sinbad but in the 7th Voyage. Best combination.

Thanks. I was asked to make Sinbad look like the comic version Bluewater have in their comics (which happens to look like John P. Law) but I chose to include the monsters from 7th Voyage in which Kerwin Mathews stars. The girl is sort of made up.

7th Voyage is definitely the most entertaining. Also check out Jason and the Argonauts, and Clash of the Titans! (the original)

Great work on the Cyclops, dragon and skeleton! I like the originality of Sinbad and the girl. The background and colors are well done!
