I was commissioned by a friend to do my own take of a cover of a Marvel Star Wars comic issue #80. This really was a fun one to do! I added the title, the pricing corner and upc/direct market box to make it look more official. Note the replacement of Spidey with a Stormtrooper head.Original cover art was drawn by Ron Frenz.

That's a droid called Ellie that helps Luke and Leia in this issue. Didn't read the story, I was just given page scans for reference.

No I have not read the story. I have been good. Very busy with school and work, but I love being busy like this. How are you?

I didn't have much going on for a few weeks but I'm busy again. I'm doing animation backgrounds again for the people I worked for in the past.

Last time I had to contact someone to make sure they had me in mind. There were more artists than tables so we had to submit ideas to get picked. Usually after the show people are invited to parties or we meet at a bar somewhere.
