The loss of contrast that the water has on the horizon in the black and white makes it seem like the subject is looking into an infinite void. Like the person is on a small island of existence surrounded by blank nothingness.
I really enjoy that effect.

Die harten Kontraste und die Asymetrie machen das Bild zu einem Hingucker. Wenn man sich dann länger damit beschäftigt dann beschäftigt man sich noch länger damit um zu begreifen warum man da jetzt eigentlich so hingezogen wird. Ich kann es nicht wirklich ausformulieren, aber es gefällt mir sowohl als Hingucker als auch als Bild zum Betrachten.

Ich finde die Aufnahme klasse. Auf der eine Seite wirkt das Bild bedrückend und nachdenklich, auf der anderen Seite hat es auch eine unglaubliche Weite. Jedenfalls empfinde ich das so
