more stuff from Boondocks Season 1...just some development... I did not do the final design of the main characters...the supremely talented and fellow homey Lesean Thomas did the final design for production...Although I did do tons and tons of incidentals and just about every celebrity that appeared on first season...Anyway, many of you liked the last post...so figured I would share more. this brought us together man. we learned so much from each other and gained so much respect for one another during this project. definitely the dog years hahahaha, so many memories attached to this image.

Nice work of reinterpreting the originals- not only making it animation friendly but also giving it more of an anime style. I wonder how you would have made them without the anime look, what your personal preference would have been.
In any case, this looks really great- nice poses and expressions as always. It's also a great looking show, having managed to catch a few episodes.

Your "interpretation" look alot more like the comic strip version than LeSeans'. And yes, by all means, post more of this work, as a character designer myself trying to get new gigs, I love seeing other artists' work cycles wif explanations, very inspiring an thought provoking.

Well it is a well done work if you ask me, i for one see that it was a bit out of your normal style (or goes the extreme way around from what you show in your gallery) but still, your work in character dessign looks great.
