Description
My second illithid concept - I kind of liked the brain shape from the last illithid design but wanted something different - this illithid opens its meninga to reveal its brain. For either strong telepathic communication or perhaps to unleash their mindblast.I think this is more the design I'll move towards.

Hmmmm, since zombies are officially "mindless" I'd have to say a bunch of those guys would take down an illithid. The illithid tentacle attack that goes for the brain would mess some of the zombies up before they got him down though. Lol. Good idea.
