In his thought-narrative Kyle addresses sexual odors. I've learned to think of it this way: an unpleasant smell may be due to poor diet or more likely poor hygiene. Pheromones or fragrances from fresh secretions may not smell bad, but rancid secretions might. Both Kyle and Angie are clean from their recent shower, so they're going to be very pleasant to each other.
