Awesome work.
I've been out of touch longer than I thought...didn't Banshee used to be a guy?

Thanks. Yeah his daughter Siryn took on Banshee's name a little while after he died.

I'm having a hard time trying to find new ways to say your artwork is amazing. You just keep getting better and better!
(Any chance we'll get to see the cover to #236 soon? I'm rather looking forward to it... )

Thank you. RE: #236 cover... I wish I could, but unfortunately I'm only supposed to release stuff after Marvel go public with it.

As a Polaris fanatic and semi-artist, I have envisioned and unsuccessfully tried to draw scenes similar to this. You totally nailed the free spirit and fun that I was trying for. BEAUTIFUL. Is there a name for the technique you used with the close up circle images? Love it all!

Thank you. I don't think it's a technique nor is there a name for using insets.

This is a beauty, David! Of course it's a Mustang convertible. Every movie uses a Mustang convertible for this type of thing. Classic.

Thanks. I didn't actually choose the car; it was either the interior artist, or Peter David who chose it.

Yeah, I figured as much. I did chuckle a bit when I saw it though. Excellent piece!

I certainly hope this is indicative of a shift in the take on her character. I'm rather tired of her being the whipping post of the X-Verse.

The car looks really nice. Did you work off of photo reference?
Very fun cover, David, very energetic. With Lorna at the wheel like that it definitely gives me a Thelma & Luise vibe. Was it a deliberate choice not to use a Thunderbird convertible and go with the probably more iconic Mustang instead?

Thanks. I used several points of reference; my visual memory isn't that good! Also I didn't choose the car, it was either Peter David, or the interior artist.

Interesting info about the car, thanks! I love learning details about the processes behind making an issue.
