Hm, since Rahne will tell at least Ric who the father is, the birth shouldn't be near, considered how far her pregnancy is. I just hope they don't come up with any retcon (e.g. ups the father is not hrimhari) or any sort of "the baby is a bloodthirsty monster". Sure it will be special (small wander considered the "pedigree") but if the story would get in that direction it would just be like shumping the shark. I already fought it weired that Theresa and Jamie get along so well after all that happened.

The solicits for January are up on CBR and there actually solicits for #213 and #214. Unless somebody messed up and posted the February solicit too soon, I think there might be two issues released in January.

The suicide of a high school student triggers X-Factor's most personal case as X-Factor is hired to learn the identities of the bullies who drove the student to take his own life. But once they have the names, do they turn that information over to the authorities...or to the student's angry family, who may well take punishment into their own hands?
Maybe it's just a mistake and it's the solicit for February, but I sure wouldn't mind two X-Factor issues in a month.

Yes there are actually two issues out in this month's solicits. Since we were still trying to work out the concept for #214's cover, I jumped ahead to draw #215 cover and I'm just doing #214 now. Here's the solicitation text for #214 that was just released:

I noticed that Shatterstar's jacked looks a bit different (the black part at the front is bigger and reaches up to the collar). I wonder if it's a permament change? It looks better this way, in my opinion.

I'm glad to see a decent looking Rictor on the cover for what seems the first time in a long while. While you're a very good artist (one of my favorites), you seem to have a fairly hard time with Ric.
You really do make these covers come alive and I'm always so happy to see you doing covers.

I think I've messed up a few of Rictor's faces. It's not that he is hard to draw, but for some reason he always seems to be the one I just put the wrong lines down at the ink stage. Oh well he's on the next cover too so I hope I get him right there as well.
