MMI-M1279 Beam Assault Rifle,Twin Beam Sword shield

After the Second Alliance-PLANT war ZAFT went off the combat data of the GOUF finding that the GOUF lacked ranged weapons, and was too close-quarters oriented. Development used some components of the ZGMF-XX09T DOM Trooper Original Spec Type mostly in the legs. The ZMGF-2014 Gelgoog beat out the ZGMF-2027/A GYAN Strom for replacing the GOUF(and in some pilot opinions the Gelgoog looked better then the Gyan). The shield was going to be an hybrid of normal shield and the "Solidus Fulgor" Beam Shield Generator but due to cost this plan was abandoned for a composite layered shield plan. The Gelgoog is mostly used my commanders and elite teams. The Earth Alliance developed an counter for the Gelgoog in the jegan(i havent started it as of 1/28/2024). Some pilot customized units become bases for production units like that of Shiho Hahnenfuss.
