I dunno..just a type of small rowing boat, there are also punts, prams, prows, and probably several other types

Normally a dinghy is a rubber dinghy in Malta. These would be small fishing boats

Yea they have rubber dinghies too. Some of the residents do use these to line fish for striped bass occasionally.

similar boats are rather common here, but you also find the fibreglass types and a few rubber dinghies
