Histórico: Deusa do amor, beleza, sexualidade, fertilidade, prazer e alegria. Filha de Zeus e Dione, casada com Hefesto, mas vivia traindo o Deus com Ares. Cansado de tanta traição, Hefesto preparou uma armadilha e acabou pegando Afrodite e Ares em flagrante, expondo o caso dos dois diante dos Deuses. Considerada a mais bela entre as Deusas e também uma das mais vingativas, só perdendo para Hera. Teve diversos casos amorosos entre Deuses e mortais. Afrodite, juntamente com Apolo, representa a obsessão dos gregos pela beleza ideal.

History: Goddess of love, beauty, sexuality, fertility, pleasure and joy. Daughter of Zeus and Dione, married to Hephaestus, but she lived betraying him with Ares. Tired of such treachery, Hephaestus set a trap and ended up taking Aphrodite and Ares in the act, exposing their case before the Gods. Considered the most beautiful among the Goddesses and also one of the most vindictive, only losing to Hera. He had many loving affairs between Gods and mortals. Aphrodite, along with Apollo, represents the obsession of the Greeks for the ideal beauty.
