The queen did not contradict her. "But there is an alternate to the boy."

"An alternate?"

"Yes. The difficulty is that I'm not sure which of three youths it might be. So I've decided to try and bring all three of them back to Berthraigan Hall."

"You want me to kidnap a kid? Three kids?"

"Not precicely. I've contacted the guardians of all three youths, and all have agreed to turn them over to my care. And I only need you to bring one of them back. I have made other arrangements for the other two."
