Description
So! Here's some stuff I've been drawing lately I thought I'd share with you. It goes from random scenes to utter redesigns - I felt the need of change with a couple characters I'd never been satisfied with, and change be it. On to the descriptions for each piece!

1) How's the most awesome stallion in the world doin'?
Don't know. How are you?

You know all those sappy corny mini dialogues you can find on tumblr? Those. Those are how Soarin' and Braeburn spend their days in my AU. And they absolutely love exchanging such comebacks, no matter if alone or in the company of friends, who of course will laugh at each stuttered sentence (Brae's usually the one who ends up losing).

2) Previous to Prince Father (and mentioned in the description): when Luna and Celestia found out about Blueblood's unwanted son, they even thought of taking the colt away from him and raising him as their own. Though both Princesses already had their own foals to take care of, they were scared the prince wouldn't be responsible enough. And their fears became a reality, in the first months: the stallion barely even glanced at his son and simply went back to his life of luxury. His adoptive aunt, though, made sure to make him understand that the foal's life depended completely on him and his choices. With his back to the wall, Blueblood was forced to come to terms with the truth. He eventually started learning how to raise a child, and even found it quite amusing at times. But whenever he snuck back to his harem, Celestia caught him and scolded him harshly - after a few attempts, tired of the Alicorn's lectures, he simply gave up.

3) Remember Swan , sister to Flitterwick and daughter of Discord and Flutterhsy? I'll be honest - I never liked her design and only kept it because it was literally the first OC I've ever created. Now though, also because I'd never even shaped her personality at all, I decided to give her a complete redesign. So now meet Kea!

Kea (meaning "clear skies")
Complete name: Kea K.H. Draconequus
Nicknames: (none)
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Species: Draconequus
Mother: Fluttershy
Father: Discord
Unique Talent: Chaos control
Story: Fluttershy had expected her first pregnancy to be painfully unbearable, especially considering that nor she nor her husband had the faintest idea how their first child would be born. Instead, thanks to Discord's magic, she barely suffered, though both parents had to wait longer than the average couple. After more than a year, Fluttershy gave birth to a tiny female Draconequus who stole her parents' hearts as soon as they saw her. To them, it was the most beautiful creature they could hope for, and despite many worries even her health conditions were stable.
Kea's body features are slightly less chaotic than her father's, similarly to her brother: instead of having completely mismatched limbs, she has both front paws of a bear, both hind legs of a caribou, both wings of a normal Pegasus (the only thing she took after her mother, aside from her eyes) and both horns resembling those of an antelope. Her magic is definitely less powerful than Discord's, being a hybrid, and even a bit weaker than her brother's. Also, it's all concentrated in her charmeleon tail, which she can cast spells with and thanks to which she can change her appearence, like Changelings. The only thing which will always remain visible, no matter what shape she takes, is in fact her tail.
Kea has had the size of a rather short stallion since she entered her teen years: she's taller than her mother, but definitely smaller than Twilight and even Applejack. It's unlikely that she will grow larger, doctors say, but she will definitely become stronger. Her wings are too tiny to carry her, and she generally prefers walking to teleporting, much to Discord's disappointment. When Flitterwick was younger (like in the drawing above, around 2-3 years old), he didn't really like having this furry giant walking around and sometimes hissed at her, to Kea's vague curiosity.
Kea is relatively sociable, if a bit shy like her mother, and enjoys the company of ponies more than animals. Sadly, because of her strange appearence, she's been fiercely bullied since she was little, and her broken left horn, which has no hopes of growing back, is the result of a particularly violent attack. She's not as passive as her brother and mother, though, and can fight back equally strongly when pushed to her very edge. Ponies' most common reactions to her are therefore either of fear or disgust, and this sometimes saddens her to the point she hides in a lair she's dug near the Everfree forest and lies there for hours.
Her strange habits and looks are however what made her closest friends love her - she's been besties with Pinkie's two daughters since their childhood, and she spends a lot of time with Big Mac's only son as well: Ian's very fond of her company and they often have apple bucking competition to prove who's stronger.

4) Last but not least, another redesign, this time for Sugar Belle and Party Favor's son. His previous character, named Cackling Confetti , made absolutely no sense with his parents, aesthetically speaking, so I decided to change him completely, keeping only his horn and bun-tied mane. I came up with two possibilities, number 1 being closer to his mother's looks, and number 2 with blue shades resembling his father. Both of them have heterochromia, just like the original design, with the right eye being blue and the left one a dark pink.
I like them both a lot and don't really have a preference, so I'll let you vote: which do you prefer? As for the name, I was thinking of Nate, short for Nathaniel. I won't write a full description for him yet because I have a few interesting things planned for him, something psychological I've been making researches on for quite some time now. Stay tuned!
