Description

As I promised, here are my favourite beauties <3 And since it looks like I'm too tired to do anything else, I'll talk a little about these absolutely random scenes for my AU :3

- Even though it's usually Rainbow Dash the peevish and touchy one, when Applejack gets angry the Pegasus had better stay away from her until she calms down, because if you approach a silent, rancor-brooding Applejack, you know you're going to have a really bad day. Especially if you've set fire to the kitchen for the hundredth time. Or if you have fed the hens with the pigs slop. Even trying to be kind and gentle may result having to run away from a pair of bucking legs, so obviously Rainbow Dash spends AJ's rare moody days napping all day long and sleep on the floor after having been thrown out of bed.

- Applejack has a secret only Rainbow Dash and Apple Bloom know: when she is agitated, she... gets goose bumps. Well, more or less. In fact, her fur gets all fluffily fluffy on her back, chest and back of thighs, under the tail. This obviously dismayed Rainbow Dash when she first saw it, and poor Applejack was desperately hoping Earth would eat her in that precise moment, but instead her Pegasus said she found this thing simply adorable. The Earth Pony still gets embarrassed when her body reacts that way, but of course Rainbow Dash loves it. And loves seeing Applejack getting all flustered and breathing heavily any time the Pegasus' wings touch her in an affectionate way, which is also a pretty good way to make the mare do anything the weather pony wants, at least until she realizes what happened and snaps at the Pegasus, chasing after her shouting and blushing. Rainbow Dash has fun mocking playfully her mate by calling her "pegasexual" because of her great... appeal for Rainbow's wings.

- It might seem Rainbow Dash is the dominant one between the two, with Applejack being more submissive and letting the Pegasus stay on top. Actually, it's Applejack who wears the methaphorical pants in this relationship, and Rainbow Dash doesn't dare moving a hoof if her partner says otherwise. She tried, it didn't end good for her. The Pegasus is pretty subdued and obedient to her... "mistress", as she sometimes calls her during their harnessed playtime.

- I simply felt like drawing some cute peaceful moment the two often share after (and before, of course) their marriage, maybe lying next to the fireplace or on a silent hill, just enjoying each other's company. Ironically, as restless and lively Rainbow Dash is, quite often she literally needs such moments. Pegasi are extremely sensible and are able to feel others' mood easily, if attached to said others. Touch is greatly important in a relationship for every Pegasus, and it is a common way to communicate for them. Body contact is considered a sign of trust amongst them, to the point that the prolonged lack of physical connection (and I'm talking about wing hugs, nuzzling, pats or strokes and even playful head bumps among youngling) might even be read as the complete break of the bound. Because of her "instincts", so, Rainbow Dash is always looking for this type of contact and finds such moments particularly calming and beneficial as a Pegasus. Applejack of course doesn't mind at all, on the contrary, she was delightly surprised to discover this side of her beloved and heartily enjoys these "soul-bondings", as she likes to call them.

Though it might be pretty difficult at times to keep wings shut when your marefriend is whispering alluring words at your ear while you're desperately trying to pay attention to the opera you went watching with your mother at the theatre. Yes, the farmpony is far slyer than she lets us think. And during the several preening sessions she spent helping Rainbow Dash take care of her wings, she also discovered one thing or two she then used to fluster her Pegasus even more. For example, she found out Pegasi seem to have a thing for simmetry, and that even the gentles brush or touch to the right place, usually between the feathered limbs or over the pinions, is enough to make them go nuts. She considers it her little revenge to how sexy fascinating Rainbow's wings are.

Oh, and then a stupid doodle of Rainbow trying to lift AJ, thing she'll most likely never succeed in. Let yourself be carried by a Pegasus in flight, they said. It'll be a thrill, they said.
