When I originally came up with the concept behind Varulv, I thought a lot about the Samwise/Frodo dynamic in Lord of the Rings... Lo, what did the girls (and Matt... who's kinda a girl, let's be honest) and I end up watching last night? Yup...Anyway -- My version of Sam is Kit here, who is Kjell's best buddy. Kit is new to the whole Ulven thing, so he has trouble keeping his wolf form for extended periods of time, but he's learning... I also think he's got a thing for Greta. Hur.

Just thought one day to combine old Scandinavian culture and werewolves, really. The story developed over the last year, from just that.
