Well, on your profiles, I think you shouldn't make the forehead sloped so much. [link] see, the forehead is a little more vertical, not as diagonal, and the bottom lip shouldn't be sticking out so much.
I dunno if you like your noses pointy, but I like mine rounder

u've got something very interesting here - the two characters look like something out of a tim burton like animation (weird me hehe) and the background is equally as gorgeous and supports to the whole composition niecely! great atmospheric art!!!
