Last May, ~ThoronWild and I decided to go to ~CosplayFever 's stand, and get some awesome photos of our costumes. It was a long queue, but it was worth it, and we had ~smallfry09 to keep us company :3*DawnKestrel as femme Cloud

thank you!!~~ Reno is awesome, I'm sure you'd suit him ^^ And his hair's one of the easier ones to style, if that's what you're worried about.

Ah, now that could be a problem. Though I could recommend a couple of online wig stores instead (I've had a bad experience with eBay so far, but it is the cheapest option if you can find the right sort of seller).
[link] - that's the wig one of my friends got, but it is a bit pricey. If you're looking at a style like that, I would avoid choosing a bright red, and suggest a darker red instead. It will turn out better in bright light or photos.
[link] - amphigory is a good website to buy from, and has a wide range of wigs. They're a bit, no, a LOT cheaper than Cosworx most of the time, and offer many styles not available on the other website. And although I haven't bought from here yet, I plan to in the future because of recommendations. The red one I've linked you to is one of my favourites, though the bright ends get saturated very easily in photos.

xD I'm just glad to be of some assistance~ I remember when I started cosplaying, I never asked anyone online for help, when I should have known that it's a lot simpler to just ask someone how they did it xD

^^ I have my grandparents to help me out, and *luckily* they have a LOT of experience making things. We're aiming to find the weaving machine soon to try to make some jumpers <3 (baring in mind that this is about the size of a dining table xD).
And I don't mind

Kuribohs are pretty simple when it comes to the pattern, the only problem I've found is getting the right materials

awww well then it will be a good first plush to make then, yeah i was thinking that .3. what material is good

DawnKestrel In reply to Homicidal-Hobbit [2011-02-02 19:16:31 +0000 UTC]
:3 well, you want to ideally get some sort of fur, though it's really up to personal taste and how big the kuriboh will be to decide what length the fur should be.
I'm making a Ruby plushie at the moment :3

For that, you may need to buy long white fur, then use watered down acrylic paints to dye it, since I've found long brown fur hard to find, but I think Ray managed to get some?
