Description
The problem facing Kaulo and his council of Riplee angels, his planet, Atlas, a massive black maggot of unknown origin scorched a quarter of Atlas' surface.
At the time of this decision, that happened 30 years ago, the decision to keep the planet in a loop till they could find the source of the worm, who or what caused it, who made it and for what purpose?
They thought over what could be done , they came to "rewind the footage". The logic here was:
To reset the planet to right after the fall of the Leviathan. If they reset further back it might cause another Leviathan to arise, the planet's surface would not survive the rise in heat. If they they also could allow the planet to continue past 30 years, if they can't find the source of the Leviathan then there would always be a risk of another showing up in the future.

This course of action was horrible but felt necessary.
