Sketchdump of what is probably my second-favorite character, Mouse. Because although I've already uploaded wayy too much TDF fanart, Mouse is just too adorable to resist. I'm not really sure what Mouse looks like; I'm guessing he looks like a really big chow. Bottom-left has Harry and Mouse with my absolute favorite character, Murph. I decided Mouse is younger here because I got his size wrong :/ By the descriptions of him, Mouse is simply MASSIVE.Bottom-right has Harry and Mouse with Mouse doing his doggy greeting dance with Harry--and scarily enough, I think that's probably about the right size for him...not quite sure, though.

I think Mouse is about waist high on Harry, so you seem to be spot on. And he looks incredibly massive standing on his hind legs.

Which one--left, or right? The left seems more like a normal dog. The right seems absurdly large to me, especially the head, and it's particularly hard to get proportions right because Harry is also oversized. Gah, I think one reason for my TDF fanart obsession is I can't actually picture the chars without drawing them out. As my dog is 13 lb, I'm not really able to judge how big a big dog gets...I based the size on an image search for big dogs that got me [link] If I had a dog that big, I'd take it on walks with rollerskates on
