Description Update: August '16 He passed away winter '15 at the age of 32. He passed away naturally, a vet checked him a week before amazed by how well our old grandpa horse was doing. No other health issues apart from being deaf and missing a few teeth. The following week my father found him laying comfortably in his hay during his morning round. He went because of old age and has not suffered.

Update: everyone won their design, like this is crazy! thank you so much!

In the first place I didn't feel like joining since I have Cine and Cecero an a bunch of others that I love to bits. I changed my mind because how awesome would it be to have an equus ballator based of of my mothers old horse?

solis soluti, Sunburst
Nickname: Sol(i), Sunny
Age: 31 y o (shown younger)
Breed: Equus-Ballator by Fargonon
coat: Sooty Flaxen Apricot - Gray on black base chimera (ee/aa/PrlPrl/Ff/nSty/Nok - Ee/aa/Gg) I don't know if he was a legit prl, but he did look very aprixot coloured he could have also been an odd dun)
NOTE: that his horn and hoove colour are propably alot lighter on most computer screens, I made him on a rather bad PC so I just noticed it by phone, his horns and hooves are not as bright coloured as they seem

Personality:
Deadly calm, Compelling, light feeted, strong willed (tell him yes he will answer with a no), timid (he doesn't like new people), a little mischievious punk (he can untie himself and others, pick up brushes, closing crates, breaking fences), own sense of humour (if you call him putting on his ignore function, if you attempt to get him he will approach you in a canter to skid to a stop barely an inch away from you), no sense of private space, clingy, very sensitive: to much tension and he will explode. Musical (when he needs something: attention or food. he will start calling and kicking). Playful till his last day we have a giant ball in the pasture for our horses but only Sunburst liked it. first signs of deafness around 28 years of age. Has always been a hardy horse for an ISH.

offspring:
Shocking blue (falling star, Glenside bloodline) had to sell him last year because I couldn't afford him anymore.

Euhm do I hope to win this guy? would be funny to have him as an EB memento of my mom, especially because Sunburst here on earth is like really old, 31 years old. If he's gone then my mother is gone for good too, and I don't want to think about that, please people no hard words. Anyways It would be fun to win, but even if I don't I had fun drawing him, and I will sure not stop drawing him. I love how he turned out tho, Had to search through tons of old pictures and my dusty memory to get him back to this. And I'm pretty happy allthough I just noticed I forgot one of his butt spots.
Anyways hope you like it guys! Sorry for being inactive these last days I want to hand around my mother.

Breed and lines (c) Fargonon
Sunburst (c) me actually mah family, steal him and I will come and get you...

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that...  I don't think Sunburst is all that prettier though. All horses are special in their own way and I believe you will do just a wonderful job designing your chimera eb but thanks!

Sadly he can't have pangare. ): So he's gonna be a grey. x_x

If you're ever open for breeding spots. I'd love to get one. :3 Try and get a little chimera of my own.

D: daww that's a true pity. I think I will open him for breedings as he was up for stud in real life too,
Allthough I don't think he'll ever sire some chimera's though. Chimeric is not really a passable 'gen' it's
the fusion of two foals into one during the embryonale fase.
in the future I might be able to get you one as I'm working on a DA laboratory, that tries to breed chimera's succesfully.

would the EB group allow that to come about? o_o

I don't know yet, I was planning to ask it in the future
Breeding chimera's isn't their main focus though breeding EB's neither, it's about testing the boundries of new technologies in par example biology but also science and physics. The tested animals like my EB Cecero are randomly bought at cheap auctions, stolen, or captured. they aren't picked on breed, size or colour just by the saying: how cheaper how better. That Cecero happened to be an EB was just dumb luck.
The well being of those tested or project animals won't be all that good either so when finding an animal like that it's most likely a resqued animal or one who was dumped to pass away the cheap way but survives or something. The last thing happened with my triple chimera stallion, for as far as I know fargonon was okay with him. she also did a wonderful job on designing him So maybe it's okay, but only time will tell.

Thank you again for your wonderful kind comment my dear it means a lot for me to hear that from you!

Wouldn't the horns be +3 since they are a bright, almost, if not neon green color? ...making the total rarity 14 not 13?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fargonon In reply to EverlastingStables [2014-02-10 17:37:49 +0000 UTC]

well he says in the description that he made this on a crappy-screened computer and the horns were not meant to be so bright; I expect him to fix it (but then again he's going through a rough time) so ATM I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt!

EverlastingStables In reply to Fargonon [2014-02-10 21:50:17 +0000 UTC]

Yuh, that's understandable. I just wanted to check so that I'd have a better understanding of what colors are suppose to be rare, uncommon and common. Since I have a tad bit of trouble getting that figured out here and there. Sometimes the color looks really close to uncommon or common, and others look close to rare or uncommon.

Hi there, The green of his gray side was actually ment to be a combination colour of the two colours green, India green and Hunters green. The green of his apricot side is mostly a mix of yellowgreenish mint dominated mixed with Cal poly pomona green. I thought I made sure the dominance of both dark colours where right and it looked like that untill I switched to my phone and saw that my crappy old computer had mixed things up again, they should look a bit like army green, big fail as you can see you've got one quick eye, thank you for your reply.
I will fix that later when I have time, mean while you can view the shades of green on the internet, par example wikipedia I guess these four will be between them

I remember when my computer was total crap when it came to getting colors right. I'm glad I don't have that prob anymore with my newer computer.
