Description A tree guy I made for my mother in law. I made the sculpture first from this twine covered wire but didn't like the hollow parts so I smooshed clay into him. After that dried I sprayed it with acrylic dye to tint the clay. I glued on some moss I dried in my oven, some glass leaf beads, and a little bird I made and there you have it!
I made him happy at first but he looked super creepy so he ended up an angry tree guy with a cute little bird on his head

Hi! I faved this intending to comment right away too... but some how I got a little lost and am a little late D:

I fell in love with this work of yours right away, he's got a lot of character and too fun seeing a tree person. Love how it really does look like bark! Very good thinking to work in clay to make the hollows less, glad you were able to get this how you liked! The moss looks great and so does your little bird. The photo of him is perfect, bright green right next to his brown. Nice nature look!

A really neat sculpture. Love the personality that comes through with him. And the cute little bird is a nice touch with such a grumpy little tree man. Would be a fun piece to have in a garden hidden amongst the plant life.
